The visual arts provide a fantastic experience for children of all ages by improving motor skills as well
as introducing students to their own creativity. On a weekly basis our students are given the opportunity to participate
in various art media, and their own creations are on constant display throughout the school building. CCA recently received
a Picturing America Grant from the Michigan Humanities Council which includes several famous works of art depicting America
throughout the years as well as curriculum on using the art work within an instructional setting.
