Our goal is to cultivate a lifelong love of music in our students and we do this through music, choir
and drama classes. SuzAnne Pendley teaches Kindermusik to preschool through second grade, Jonathan Anderson teaches
general music class to third through eighth grade, while Sammie & Lidia Placencio teach choir and drama to third through
eighth grade.
Kindermusik
Kindermusik is uniquely designed to teach music in a very enjoyable fashion
to preschool aged children up to the second grade. Kindermusik is known for developing early literacy and language skills,
reasoning and early math skills, increasing self-control and cultivating a lifelong love of music (kindermusik, 2009).
Music
The music class for third through eighth grade involves general music theory
and includes a variety of instruments and rythm games.
Choir/Drama
The theater provides a wonderful artistic outlet for children to tap into
an area of themselves that they may not know exists. The Choir and Drama classes prepare our children for the Christmas
production and Spring Celebration. Our students thoroughly enjoy being a part of these presentations and this creative,
performing art.
